Chris Rhodes
12U/14U/16U GOALIE COACH
Coach Chris Rhodes is a Southern California native who grew up playing club hockey in the South Bay. His lifelong passion for the game has naturally led him into coaching, with a particular focus on goaltending. Chris brings a wealth of experience, having worked with goalies at every level - from young mites to collegiate athletes.
During his coaching career, Coach Chris has served as a goaltending coach for Loyola Marymount University and at the Bay Harbor Red Wings, while also being a coach in the Los Angeles Kings High School Hockey League.
In addition, Coach Chris has been a vital part of Goalies Inc., a nationally recognized goaltending camp known for developing top-tier goalies across the country.
Coach Chris is recognized for his calm demeanor, dedication, and ability to connect with goaltenders of all ages. His patience and enthusiasm make him a valuable asset to our coaching staff.

Cory Hutchison
8U/10U GOALIE COACH
Coach Cory has been part of the Bay Harbor hockey family nearly his entire life—starting as a player at just 3 years old and proudly coaching with the program since 2018. Hockey runs deep in his roots, having learned the game from his grandfather, former LA King Vic Venasky, and further mentored by uncles Mike Murphy and Daryl Evans, both LA Kings alumni, as well as professional goaltender Tom Lawson.
Cory brings a passionate, well-rounded approach to coaching, drawing not only from his hockey background but also from his extensive athletic experience. Off the ice, he holds a second-degree black belt in MMA, played AAA travel baseball, ran cross country in high school, and was also a 4 year varsity volleyball starter.
Dedicated to building skilled, confident, and disciplined players, Coach Cory focuses on developing both the athlete and the individual—with a deep respect for the game and its traditions.

Stevie Marino

Coach Stevie began playing Midget hockey for the Bay Harbor Red Wings. He played two years as the Captain of his Jr. Kings Midget team. Won championship for South High School. Coach Stevie was selected to play Team California for the prestigious Chicago Showcase Tournament. He played two years in the juniors in the CSHL for the Peoria Mustangs and Cinncinati Steam. Experience with the Edmonton Oilers team both on the ice and in the gym for two summers. He played NCAA D3 in Wisconsin and Arizona State ACHA D1.

Mark Huber
12UA HEAD COACH
A native of Dodge Center, Minnesota, Coach Huber grew up immersed in Minnesota High School Hockey. During his high school years, he was a four-sport letter winner, an Eagle Scout, class president, and an active participant in student government, band, choir, and school musicals.
Huber continued his hockey career by playing three seasons with the Edina Lakers of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League (MnJHL), serving as team captain each year. He began his collegiate hockey career at the NCAA Division III level with Saint Mary’s University before transferring to Iowa State University, where he played three seasons at the ACHA Division 1 level and captained the Cyclones.
As a former forward, Huber brings a wealth of coaching experience to Bay Harbor. He spent five summers as a coach and camp supervisor at the prestigious Minnesota Hockey Camps in Nisswa, MN. Additionally, he has been actively involved with USA Hockey's Central District development programs. Huber returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach for Iowa State’s ACHA Division 1 team during the 2017–18 season. Most recently, he has spent the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Jr. Kings organization, continuing to develop young talent at an elite level.

Joe Vingi
16UA HEAD COACH
Growing up in New England, Joe played AAA from an early age before attending The Winchendon School for 4 years where he was a 2 year captain. Following HS, Joe played in the AJHL in Alberta, Canada and in the NAHL for the Minnesota Wilderness and Northeast Generals. He then attended Suffolk University a member of the NCAA Division III. He was a 2 year captain there as well.
Coach Joe’s post playing career began with the Rose City Pats AA/AAA programs and continued for the past 3 years. He also coached at The Sports Complex in El Segundo for 2 years teaching hockey and off ice training.
Preston Ware
8UB/ 10UBB ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Preston has been immersed in the game since he was four years old, playing hockey in Dallas at all levels from A to AAA. He captained the Frisco High School team and later served as president of the Texas Tech Roller Hockey Club. He spent two seasons as an assistant coach and one as a head coach for a JV ice hockey program in Texas. He relocated to California in 2023 and has been with Bay Harbor since 2025.
His coaching philosophy is rooted in more than just the game. He believes that youth hockey is one of the greatest tools for teaching leadership, discipline, and confidence. He's a motivational leader who values accountability, structure, and creating an environment where players grow not only as athletes but as people.

Taylor Peterson
10UBB ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Taylor, a Southern California native, began playing hockey at age 6 as a roller hockey goalie before moving to travel ice hockey at 9, competing with teams like the Artesia Avalanche, Pasadena Maple Leafs, and Anaheim Wildcats. He achieved his goal of playing college hockey with one season at CSULB in 2017.
Now a Play-By-Play/Color Commentator for the USPHL’s Long Beach Bombers, he brings energy, insight, and a strong communication background, holding both an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from CSULB.

Chris Bisenieks
14U ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Biz has been around sports his whole life—starting hockey at age 3 and growing up in the Red Wings organization. He went on to play junior hockey with the Wichita Falls Force (NAHL) and the Valencia Flyers (WSHL). A true multi-sport athlete, he also played basketball, volleyball, and more growing up.
He’s coached hockey, basketball, and football, worked as a personal trainer, and even refs football and basketball. With a real passion for helping athletes grow, Coach Biz focuses on pushing players to reach their full potential—not just in sports, but in life.
